Toyota Matrix Engine Swap Prep

Getting ready for a Toyota Matrix engine swap, with a little cold-weather garage atmosphere along the way. This short is a project update as the work gets underway, not a complete how-to on removing or replacing the engine.

What you’ll see in this one

This quick Toyota Matrix clip captures the preparation stage. The engine-swap work is the subject, but the short isn't a start-to-finish engine-replacement guide.

A closer look at this job

Thinking about an engine swap in a Toyota Matrix? This short is about preparing for that kind of project and gives a glimpse of the garage atmosphere before the job. Engine swaps take more planning than a single short can show, so this upload belongs with my ongoing Matrix project footage rather than being treated as a complete procedure. If you're researching a Matrix engine removal or swap, look through the related Toyota videos for more of the story.
